Tressle Table. 6' long X 3' wide. Western Maple and Yew wood. The finish is Bona Mega. A low VOC water based floor finish. Tough to work with but very durable.
The lay up for this table top is Maple 2"X6" alternating with 1/2" pieces of Yew wood. Beautiful blonde and red contrasting colours. The outside is a 1/2" strip of figured burl maple. The tressle legs are made from tight vertical grain Red Cedar that I milled with my Alaskan chainsaw mill. There are strips of Maple in the legs to blend styles and colours with the top. The wedges through the Cedar stretcher are Maple.
