Divine Proportions, speaks to the relationship of sacred geometry in nature. Many of my carvings are born of `seeing` the form in the wood. They are also guided by visions and intuitive internal guidance. This pathway is helping me to be original in my artistic expression.
My carvings are inspired by visions and life experiences. The wood becomes an equal partner in a piece once I begin. In fact the piece of wood is sometimes the inspiration for the carving in the first place.
This Driftwood Bed was a commissioned piece that evolved through the process of building it. All a result of communicating with the clients and working with the wood available.
